Edinburgh Branch

Branch Information

We are a large, busy branch with a wide range of activities for harpers at every level.  We take part in three major concerts every year – at the Edinburgh International Harp Festival, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and an annual Christmas concert, Harps of Gold, in the Queen’s Hall in Edinburgh .  As well as rehearsing for our concerts (expertly led by Isobel Mieras), we have lots of other fun workshops throughout the year, ranging from our Burns Bash in January to regular annual workshops with Northumberland and Glasgow branches and our Open Platform event in October.

Here’s what is planned from November 2019-January 2020

You’re all invited to join us!  Music is provided for all levels of ability.

This programme has been arranged by the Edinburgh Branch Committee.  Here’s a note of who’s on the Committee.

Isobel Mieras and Helen Forster (Co-Convenors), Catherine Dowell (Treasurer), Anne Moar (Secretary),

Ellie Evans, Katie Harrigan, Laura Jones, Gabriele Kuhn, Morag Philips (Membership Secretary)
