Aberdeen International Youth Festival – Summer Courses

One of the main aims of the Aberdeen International Youth Festival is to provide an accessible educational scheme where young artists from the North east and around the UK can come together in a creative environment to improve their skills.

Musicians, dancers, pipers and singers are all encouraged to come along and experience workshops and master-classes, carried out each year by some of the best tutors from around Scotland and Europe.

AIYF are committed to nurturing and encouraging talent across the arts sectors with varying abilities, so that young people can learn from being a part of the creative process.

AIYF always run a variety of summer courses that young people can take part in. So come along and get involved in one of the world’s foremost festivals of youth arts.

This year AIYF are running 3 Summer courses:

Ceol Mor – advanced course for ages 16-25

Splore – middle course aimed at secondary school age

Young SC&T – junior course aimed at primary 4-7
